Artist's Description

This painting was inspired by a news story about three crew members of the International Space Station, who had been living in orbit for over six months and were returning to earth in the midst of a pandemic. Going from one kind of social distancing to another. When they got home, would they keep wearing their spacesuits? The title is a line from Once in a Lifetime, a song by the band Talking Heads.
